We are Barrhaven’s Roman Catholic Parish and we are serving our community in the center of Barrhaven. If you are new to our parish, please know that we are honoured by your presence.

Our parish serves the needs of our community in many different ways: preparation for Sacraments, children's liturgy on weekends, social activities, assistance to those in difficulty, comfort to the sick and those who mourn a loss. If we can be of service to you, do not hesitate to call or email us.

'ALPHA' for Catholic

The Archbishop is encouraging parishes to use the ‘Alpha’ program. Our Thursday evening sessions will run from Sept. 21 - Nov. 30 (6:30-8:30pm). While designed for those who are interested in considering Christianity for the first time, Alpha is for everyone, including those wanting to reinvestigate Christianity and ‘regular’ Christians who want to think about their faith in terms of the modern world situation. It also is something a practising Catholic can invite someone to attend with them. It Introduces people to the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. It attracts young people who are asking the question, ‘Is there more to life than this?’

Every session begins with food, followed by a high-quality video presentation and then a relaxed small group discussion. The discussion allows people to share their thoughts and questions about the talks without being corrected or judged.

Sign-up sheets will be in the vestibule next week or you can register by calling the parish office (613-723-9767 ext 1) You can watch a short video about Alpha at
