We are Barrhaven’s Roman Catholic Parish and we are serving our community in the center of Barrhaven. If you are new to our parish, please know that we are honoured by your presence.

Our parish serves the needs of our community in many different ways: preparation for Sacraments, children's liturgy on weekends, social activities, assistance to those in difficulty, comfort to the sick and those who mourn a loss. If we can be of service to you, do not hesitate to call or email us.

Sign of Peace - Concerns
Communion at Mass begins with the ‘Our Father’ and moves to an exchange of the ‘Sign of Peace’ with one another before we each receive the Blessed Sacrament. This exchange is a reminder that we are gathered together, in the Lord, brothers and sisters united in his love. This deliberate acknowledgment of our connection to one another, using a conventional social action, is important. Some people have serious concerns about this, especially in the winter, so you should use your judgement. Also, please do not consider those who do not participate to be anti-social. Presume that they are in delicate health, or are worried that they may be infectious.
